Support
SentLines is a sentence-by-sentence language-practice plugin for ChatGPT and Codex. It works entirely through conversation; it has no separate account or subscription.
Starter prompts
- Direct example: “I practice French, and already know English, Turkish, and Finnish. Help me: Je manger croissant.”
- Guided setup: “Help me set up my SentLines languages step by step.”
- Fast default: “Start with the default setup: Turkish, with English, French, and Finnish translations.”
How corrections work
The first line is the corrected version in your practice language. SentLines bolds the smallest changed words. The following lines translate that corrected meaning into the languages you selected. A blank line separates every sentence group.
Images and phrases you heard
Attach an image that contains readable text, or type a phrase as closely as you remember it. SentLines marks uncertain readings with [?]. Adding context—where you saw or heard it and what was happening—can improve the result.
Troubleshooting
- If your languages are wrong, say “Set up my languages again.”
- If a line is too formal or informal, ask for the tone or regional variety you prefer.
- If image text is missed, send a tighter, clearer crop.
- Language choices apply to the current conversation. A new conversation starts with the default unless you set up another combination.
